Until my Astronomy class as a senior, science was always my least favorite subject in school. Every time I was interested in science it was in side-stories the class never focused on but I found in the margins. One of the things that has remained with me: Ernst Haeckel's prints. Class focused on "biogentic law" and my eyes fixated on a geometric print of sea slugs that showed how beautiful nature was. Nonfiction Tees has turned some of his most stunning illustrations into today's most wearable art: the basic tee shirt. I'm coveting their mineral tee and non-Haeckel related lunar map tee.
